Agreement

These terms apply to the Cascade website, your Cascade account and the Cascade app. By creating an account, buying a plan or using Cascade you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Cascade.

Using Cascade

Cascade is licensed to you, not sold. You may install and use it on computers you own or control, for your own personal use, within the limits of your plan.

Cascade changes how parts of Windows look and behave. Every feature can be turned off, and closing Cascade returns Windows to its normal appearance.

Your account

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. Your account and plan are for you alone, and you're responsible for what happens under your account.

Paid plans can be used on a limited number of devices. You can sign out of a device to free up its place.

Plans and payments

Prices are shown on the store page at the time you buy. Monthly gives you 30 days of paid access per purchase. If you turn on automatic renewal, we charge you every 30 days until you turn it off, and the days you already paid for always stay. Lifetime is a single payment for paid access for as long as Cascade is offered.

Card payments are handled by Stripe and crypto payments by BTCPay Server. We never see or store your full card details.

Your site balance can only be spent on Cascade. It isn't cash, can't be withdrawn and can't be moved to another account.

Refunds

Cascade is digital and is delivered as soon as your payment goes through, so purchases are generally final. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us within 14 days and we'll look at it. Where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, that right still applies.

Charging back a payment that was delivered may pause the account while we look into it.

What's not allowed

Please don't copy, share, sell or redistribute Cascade or your access to it, modify or crack it, take it apart to get around its licensing or device limits, or interfere with our website or services.

On the forum and in your profile, keep it respectful. No spam, harassment, illegal content or content you don't have the rights to.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, like forum posts and your profile picture. You allow us to store and show it on Cascade so the forum and your profile work. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Updates and changes

Cascade receives updates from our website, and features may be added, changed or removed over time. We may also update these terms. When we make a significant change we'll post it on the site, and continuing to use Cascade means you accept the updated terms.

Ending access

You can stop using Cascade at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, including access gained through fraud, chargebacks or getting around our licensing.

No warranty

Cascade is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Cascade in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law.
